About the role
Joining a site supervision team for a new construction contract in Muscat, working from the site office. You'll inspect the mechanical installations every day and make sure they're installed and tested right. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Inspect ductwork, pipework, plumbing, drainage and fire-fighting installations
- Witness pressure and flushing tests and record the results
- Respond to inspection requests and keep inspection records up to date
- Report defects and non-conformities to the mechanical engineer
What you’ll need
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering
- At least 10 years' experience as a site inspector, including in the GCC
- Confident with method statements, material approval submittals (MAS), inspection and test plans, inspection requests and NCRs
- Able to read drawings and specifications quickly
