About the role
Joining a site supervision team for a new construction contract in Muscat, working from the site office. You'll supervise the civil and structural works and keep quality and progress on track. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Supervise civil, structural and infrastructure works against the drawings and specification
- Review contractor method statements, material submittals and shop drawings
- Witness inspections and tests, and approve or reject the work
- Raise and close out NCRs and site instructions
- Record progress and support the resident engineer with reports and measurements
What you’ll need
- Degree in civil engineering
- At least 15 years' experience, mostly on site, including projects in the GCC
- Working knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract
- Confident with method statements, material approval submittals (MAS), inspection and test plans, inspection requests and NCRs
- Eligible for registration with the Oman Society of Engineers
