Who is responsible
Foundry Development Management Limited (Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi) runs Studio & Site and is responsible for your personal data under UAE Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.
What we collect
Your account details; your CV and the profile we read from it; documents, portfolios and references you upload; your applications and messages; and basic records of how you use the site. We never record your age, date of birth, gender, religion, marital status or photo.
How we use your CV
We read your CV into a standard profile, which you check and correct before anyone sees it. We use the profile to rank you for roles and to give you private feedback.
Who sees your profile
Employers you apply to see your full profile. In CV search, employers see an anonymous profile only if you switch that on; your name and contact details are shared only when you agree.
AI and ranking
AI reads your CV once. Ranking is arithmetic on your checked profile, and employers see the evidence behind each score. You can object to automated ranking by switching off search visibility.
Where data is kept
Data is stored with encryption at rest. AI reading and email sending use providers outside the UAE under contracts that protect your data. Files are only ever shared through short-lived links.
How long we keep it
While your account is active. After 12 months without activity we email you to ask whether to keep your profile. If you don't answer, your profile is hidden after 30 days and deleted after 60. We keep only a minimal record (a scrambled email, dates and your consent history) to show we followed the law.
Your rights under UAE law
You can see, correct, download or delete your data at any time from your account, restrict how we use it, and object to automated processing. Write to us if you need help.
