About the role
Joining a site supervision team for a new construction contract in Muscat, working from the site office. You'll inspect the civil and structural works every day and make sure they're built right. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Inspect earthworks, concrete, steel and finishing works as they're built
- Check setting out, reinforcement, formwork and pours before approval
- Respond to inspection requests and keep inspection records up to date
- Report defects and non-conformities to the civil engineer
What you’ll need
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering
- At least 10 years' experience as a site inspector, including in the GCC
- Confident with method statements, material approval submittals (MAS), inspection and test plans, inspection requests and NCRs
- Able to read drawings and specifications quickly
