About the role
Joining a site supervision team for a new construction contract in Muscat, working from the site office. You'll supervise the mechanical services, from first fix to testing and commissioning. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Supervise HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire-fighting installations against the design
- Review mechanical method statements, material submittals and shop drawings
- Witness pressure tests, testing and commissioning
- Coordinate mechanical works with the civil and electrical teams on site
- Raise and close out NCRs, and check as-built drawings
What you’ll need
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- At least 15 years' experience, mostly on site, including projects in the GCC
- Working knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract
- Confident with method statements, material approval submittals (MAS), inspection and test plans, inspection requests and NCRs
- Eligible for registration with the Oman Society of Engineers
