About the role
Our infrastructure team in Muscat designs roads, junctions and utilities for masterplans and government projects. We're looking for a senior highway designer to lead that work. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Lead geometric design of roads, junctions and interchanges
- Design pavement, drainage and road furniture
- Coordinate utilities and traffic studies with other disciplines
- Prepare drawings, quantities and reports for approval
- Check and guide junior engineers and draughtspersons
What you’ll need
- Degree in civil engineering
- At least 10 years' experience in highway design, including the GCC
- Civil 3D, and knowledge of AASHTO and Omani road standards
- Experience with the Ministry of Transport or municipality approvals is an advantage
- Eligible for registration with the Oman Society of Engineers
