About the role
Lead the architectural design of mixed-use, residential and hospitality projects in Oman, from concept to authority approval and tender. You'll work closely with our own engineers, and with international lead designers where we act as local architect of record. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Develop concept, schematic and detailed designs for mixed-use, residential and hospitality projects
- Prepare and coordinate drawing sets for municipality and other authority approvals
- Coordinate the architecture with our structural, MEP and infrastructure teams
- Be the local point of contact for international design partners on architect-of-record projects
- Review submittals and support site visits during construction
- Guide and check the work of junior architects and draughtspersons
What you’ll need
- Degree in architecture
- At least 6 years' experience, including projects in the GCC
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD, and experience of BIM-coordinated projects
- Working knowledge of Omani building regulations and approvals, or able to learn them quickly
- Clear written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
