About the role
A long-standing Muscat engineering practice needs a Resident Engineer to lead site supervision on highway and road projects for government clients. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Lead the supervision team on site and represent the Engineer under the contract
- Check the works against the drawings, specification and programme
- Review method statements, inspection requests and material submittals
- Chair progress meetings and report to the client every month
- Certify interim payments and assess variations, delays and claims
What you’ll need
- Degree in civil engineering
- At least 12 years' experience, including Resident Engineer roles on GCC road projects
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts
- Primavera P6 and Aconex or similar
- Eligible for registration with the Oman Society of Engineers
