About the role
Look after cost on our design and supervision projects, from early estimates through tender to final account. Omani nationals are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Prepare cost estimates and cost plans at each design stage
- Take off quantities and prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
- Analyse tenders and write tender reports
- Value interim payments, variations and claims during construction
- Prepare final accounts and cost reports
- Advise the design team on value engineering
What you’ll need
- Degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering
- At least 6 years' experience, including consultancy work in the GCC
- Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and POMI or NRM measurement
- CostX, Candy or similar, and strong Excel
- MRICS, or working towards it, is an advantage
